THE APPLICATION
Applicants must submit via the email to eavp@eavp.org:
1- a description of their proposed project (up to 200 words);
2 – an executive summary of their proposal showing the support required, stating what the money is for, where and when the research will be done, and what the expected benefits for vertebrate palaeontology will be – special consideration will be given for the ability of the proposal to be part of a broader project (maximum 500 words);
3 – a brief summary CV (no more than 1,500 words).
In addition, the applicant must submit together with the application a letter of support from their supervisor or a professional vertebrate palaeontologist.

The process will involve first assessment by a panel consisting of the EAVP Executive (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer), unless a conflict of interests arises, in which case a third Board Member (to be decided according to the nature of the application) can be substituted for the Exec member in question. The second stage and final decision will be conducted by Sandra Chapman and Vincent Gillespie.
The decision will be communicated directly to the successful candidate on this date, at which point they must provide details of the bank account to which it will be paid.
SUBSEQUENT REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidates will submit a one page report 1 year after receipt of the grant. It is also expected that they will present on the research at the following EAVP meeting.
