2024 EAVP Board Election

This year there will be elections for the EAVP Board. If you are interested, please fill in the form below. This year the EAVP will also introduce the positions of Diversity Officer and Ethics Officer. The deadline for online application is 7th August 2024

The online application is very helpful but not mandatory. Any eligible member can stand up at the AGM before the voting and present their candidacy. To fill the online form, please click here.

The available positions are:

1. President; who is the head of the Association and provides direction for the committee.
2. Vice-President; who supports the president in the duties for the Association and replaces the president when required.
3. Treasurer; who administers the budget of the Association.
4. Secretary; who is responsible for the protocols of the meetings in accordance with the President and the running of the Association.
5. Communications Manager; who is responsible for the internet presence and other publications of the Association.
6. Diversity Officer; who promotes and supports a diverse and inclusive culture in both the Association and the scientific research related to it/the scientific research of its members.
7. Ethics Officer; who develops the ethical guidelines expressed in the EAVP statutes and works with the Executive to promote and support ethical scientific research in terms of legislation, publication and open science.
8. Ordinary Board Members; 3 positions.
9. Assessor of the Treasurer; who revises, as auditor, the Treasurer’s annual budget report; 2 positions.

Article 17.5. of the EAVP Statute says: ” Re-election to the office of the Board of Directors is permitted once. The office of treasurer is exempt from the ban on a third term of office.”
