EAVP RESEARCH GRANTS
The EAVP offers small grants to fund in part or in total a vertebrate palaeontological research project of any kind. This can include excavation, collection visits, and conference attendance (other than the EAVP annual meeting, for which there is the EAVP Annual Meeting Grant) but it cannot be used only for publication fees.
Eligibility: the applicant must be an EAVP member for two years (either preceding, or paid in advance for subsequent years).
The Decision will be made before June 29th 2023 by a panel normally consisting of the President and Treasurer together with a third Board Member (to be decided according to the nature of the application), unless a conflict of interests arises. Awardees will be announced during the General Assembly.
For 2023, two ERG grants will be awarded. In recognition of the current prevailing circumstances, a special additional ERG will be offered, ringfenced for any Ukrainian palaeontologist that can take advantage of it
